Moving Large Items

Items which weigh more than 400 pounds can turn an otherwise easy move into a problem. Please make sure that we are aware of any large items that need to be moved prior to your moving day. Large items could be damaged or cause bodily injury if not handled correctly by professionals. Additional charges are applied for the following:

A professional will make this move correctly. They will remove the bumpers, remove the felt, disassemble the table, remove the slate and prepare for transit. At your destination the professionals will uncrate the slate, reassemble the table, level the table, and reinstall the felt.

A Grand or Baby Grand piano can weigh from 500 to a 1,000 pounds, while a full-sized upright piano can weigh anywhere from 300 to 500 pounds.
